Day 7 Satuday

"Understanding" is one of my favorites because I'm a mystery writer and this is a mystery. It takes on a different approach than most mysteries as J. Sherer guides you through misunderstandings to truth and true understanding. One of the things I like about this is the twisted ending, which by some strange twist of the divine, is much like my own work in progress. So, not wishing to spoil both this story nor my own book, I'm opting to say little about this story other than it is truly a wonderful work and you must read it. (Then after my book comes out you must read my book too. (Sorry for the plug Karina, but I couldn't help myself)

Rob and Karina Fabian have put together a wonderful booktrailer which you will find our the CFRB Booktrailer page to this site. There are other booktrailers there as well. We invite you to visit this page and check out these booktrailers, even if you've missed a blogtour for any of the books. You can also see the booktrailer for INFINITE SPACE, INFINITE GOD at that website listed below. I invite you to visit their site, not just to view their trailer, but to contact them and let them know how much the tour has meant to you. We ask that you'd do the same for all authors or compilers of the books we tour here. Letting them know how CFRB has made you aware of some really great fiction is going to help encourage them to continue to put together even more great Christian fiction. And if you want to know about Jesus you can ask any of us and we'll be happy to share with you what He means to us and can mean to you.

Tangerine by Marilynn Griffith

This week, the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance is posting about Tangerine (Revell, January 2007) by Marilynn Griffith (fellow CFBA member, blogger, writer, and mother of *GULP* seven!)

Marilynn Griffith is wife to a deacon, mom to a tribe and proof that God gives second chances. Her novels include Made of Honor (Steeple Hill, Jan. 2006), Pink (Revell, Feb. 2006), Jade (Revell, June 2006), and If the Shoe Fits (Revell, 2007). Her other credits include Chicken Soup for the Christian Woman’s Soul, Cup of Comfort Devotionals and her Shades of Style series (Revell, 2006). She lives in Florida with her husband and children. To book speaking engagements or just say hello, email:

Tangerine is the third book in the Shades of Style Novels.

Fans of Pink and Jade will eat up Tangerine, the third book in the cutting-edge Shades of Style series. Jean Guerra, a designer at Garments of Praise design firm, doesn't like surprises. These days though, the unexpected meets her everywhere. Since Jean's return to the church a year ago, her God-encounters occur with increasing frequency, along with thoughts of her husband-the one she vowed to divorce and gave up on long ago. The one nobody at work knows about, not even her best friend, Lily, or her boss, Chenille. But when the designer assigned to work with Jean on a line of men's suits shows up, her heart flips. It's her husband, Nigel Salvador. Jean is finally rendered speechless. Can her bruised heart become whole enough to love again? Or will she remain in the trenches of loneliness forever?
